A transmedia experience about what it’s like to be human in an era where algorithms construct desires; the machine gaze parses through our actions; and privacy is diminished in service of data-driven utopias.
The digital prototype is an experimental film from the vantage point of CCTV cameras in public spaces. Windows become metaphors for privacy, while an unseen narrator speaks of the tacit wagers we make with our data everyday.
The theatrical prototype presents an embodied experience of dwindling privacy by placing the audience in a smart home. The narrative is delivered through domestic objects and highlights the tussle between animal instincts and digital impulses in intimate settings.
